Printable planner: What moon phase is best for planning?

The new moon has passed, and the lunar energy is rising.

Gardeners know this waxing phase is the best moon phase to sow seeds – these could be for the garden; or the seeds we sow in our life, what would we like to grow?

🌙 I always dedicate this phase to planning for the lunar month. 🌙

Why? As above, as the lunar energy grows, this has influence on our waters, plants, animals, people.
The moon influences the tides and waters on the earth: and our bodies, made of up to 65% water are said to be influenced by the lunar pull.

Tuning into this growing time, planning naturally occurs:

  • What do I want to grow in my life?
  • What do I want to achieve?
  • What steps can I take to get there?

I’ve totally converted from a diary based planner.

Honestly, I need things broken down MUCH more since having kids. The interruptions, the need to be adaptable and multi task more than ever, make it trickier to remember, to stay on track.
I have been using this printable planner for 10 years, printing what I need, as I need.
  • Using a bulldog clip to visibly display my daily plan and keep my tasks and intentions on track.
  • Or a ringbinder to store and refer to through the month and season.
  • You can use it digitally too if you have the appropriate app on your tablet or ipad.
I personally link in with the maramataka, further guided by the moons energy day by day, phase by phase.
🌙 I use the moon as an anchor to help plan my month – planning, planting, contacting, creating, harvesting, resting – with the support of the lunar phase energy.
