TEACHING RESOURCE
Te reo Maori Days of the Week,
Months & Seasons
This te reo Māori Seasons, Months & Days of the Week, is a free printable resource that was put together to compliment Paitu’s Seasonal Wheel.
This resource is free to download, but works best to add depth to the visual learning within the Seasonal Wheel – an illustrated learning resource designed as a perpetual calendar. It features art based on the Southern Hemisphere and NZ Māori Seasons, encouraging tamariki to connect visually with the seasons, helping to observe how each flow into each other in an ongoing cycle of nature and view the passing of time.
Both the perpetual calendar and this free resource are designed to use alongside a maramataka to deepen learning – for both children and adults alike!
